The Origin of the Innovation

For decades, Indian cardamom was a treasured ingredient in traditional Arabian Khawa tea. However, when the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) introduced stringent pesticide regulations, exports of Indian cardamom to GCC countries came to a sudden halt.
This decision significantly impacted Indian farmers and caused a steep fall in cardamom prices.
Adi Group saw this not just as a business challenge — but as a national responsibility.
Our R&D division began intensive research to develop a scientific solution that could safely address pesticide residue concerns and help Indian cardamom regain its global market position

From Adi T. Technology to Adi PR Technology

Adi PR Technology (2023 Commercialisation)

Building upon Adi T. Technology, we developed Adi PR Technology, a technology engineered to reduce pesticide residues in agricultural harvests — particularly Indian cardamom.
In 2023, Adi Group successfully commercialised Adi PR Technology, marking a milestone by bringing down the pesticides levels in Indian Cardamom under the maximum allowed levels of SFDA (Saudi Food Drug Authority)

Regulatory Alignment & Global Standards

Our technology ensures that processed products comply with global maximum residue limits (MRLs) set by:

  • U.S. Food and Drug Administration (USA)
  • European Union (EU Standards)
  • Codex Alimentarius Commission (International Standards)
  • Saudi Food and Drug Authority (GCC Countries)
  • Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (Bharat)
Note: “Removal” refers to reducing pesticide levels to within internationally permitted safety limits.

The Next Evolution: Adi e-Dome

Through continued upgradation of Adi PR Technology and standardised operating procedures (SOP), we developed Adi e-Dome — an advanced system for safe agricultural processing.

How Adi e-Dome Works

1. Whole wheat is sourced from leading suppliers in Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and other major agricultural regions.
2. The wheat is processed inside the Adi e-Dome system.
3. The proprietary process converts chemical residues into safe forms and expels them.
4. The purified wheat is then milled into high-quality wheat flour.
